The thing is, although lots of people think about it, most of them aren’t serious about owning a business; its just an occasional daydream.

Should I Start a Business? But for some, the idea comes up more often. Often enough, in fact, to be the beginning of a plan.

And then doubts creep in. You wonder if your dream is as good of an idea as you thought it was.

You wonder if you have what it takes to actually start a business. And what does it take, anyway?

That’s what this class will help you find out.

In four lessons over eight days, this course will give you an idea of what it really takes to successfully start and run your own business. You’ll learn how to choose and evaluate a business idea, and how to determine if you have what it takes.

  • You will clarify your goals: Why you want to be a business owner and what you expect to get out of the experience.
  • We will discuss several basic types of businesses so you can decide what kind is – or isn’t – a good fit for you.
  • You will learn what must be in place for a business to be successful, and discover whether you have (or can create) those things.
  • We will look at the most necessary traits and skills a successful business owner must have and find out if you have (or can acquire) those characteristics.
  • You will also be invited to join my private Facebook group for questions and one-on-one follow up.

If you decide that entrepreneurship is indeed in your future, the final lesson will give you the basics so that you can create – and implement – your own start up plan!

I took this class to help me decide if starting a business was really a good idea. And now I’m sure it is. This was much more helpful than tests I had in high school that recommended a career that was totally unsuitable. If you’re not sure about going into business for yourself, this class will help you weigh the pros and cons specific to your own situation.
